My First Day

My first day of spring classes was yesterday. I got up at 8 all ready to go to class at 9. I got the the building and hurried to find my class. It was empty. I was so confused and then I realized that it was Tuesday and my class at 9 is only on Monday, Wednesday. I was so mad! So I had three hours to kill until my next class started. It sucked!

Later I went to class and it was kind of intense. There are only like ten people in the class, so the teacher put us in a semi circle. Then he would stand six inches away from your desk and then stare into your eyes while he talked. It's a little creepy!

Sunday Breakfast

My mom signed up to feed the missionaries on Sunday, but forgot when my grandma invited us over for dinner. So she decided to have the missionaries for breakfast. I know I thought it was kind of weird. To make it even weirder Jessica found out through her mom that one of the missionaries serving in my ward was in my freshman ward last year. When I was told the last name I had no idea who it was. Great, this is going to be an awkward hey you were in my ward, but I have no idea who you are type of thing. Turns out he was in my FHE group, too! So I actually knew who he was. So it wasn't that bad and actually worked out nicely.

Hair Cut

So I actually did it. I thought I would wuss out and not do it. Jeff's girlfriend Kylie was kind enough to cut it for me. I think it came out really good.

Now lets hope it still looks good without the puffy cheeks and bruised mustache.

Bruising

Joanna, you jinxed me! I did get bruising. It might be hard to see in this picture, but it is right along the side of my mouth down to my jaw and then there is more under my jaw. It looks like a green and yellow handlebar mustache.

Chipmunk

Sorry I haven't posted in a really long time, but I think you all will enjoy laughing at my pain in this one. I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I don't know if the picture quiet does it justice, but it tried.

A Night of Kicks

It all started when I threatened to drop kick Jessica in the face. Then the discussion turned into who could kick the highest. This lead four of my roommates and I into the living to kick the wall a mark where they land to see who could get the highest. All of this occurring at 1:00 AM.

After a few tries I decided to practice while Joanna got her turn. Just before Joanna went I stepped to practice on the door and slipped and fell flat on my back. It was so funny! Someone turned of the lights and we all tried, unsuccessful to laugh quietly. After a period of time we felt brave enough to start again. Every time we heard the slightest noise we would turn off the lights in fear of our neighbors below us coming up and telling us to be quite.

It was finally me turn to kick the wall again and I took my socks of to prevent falling, but once again I kicked and fell on my butt. Once again we turned off the lights and pretended we weren't awake. Finally, we decided we had made enough noise and I had fallen enough times that we decided to stop.

This was definitely one of the funniest nights of the year!

April Fool's Day

So I am not one to try to pull April Fool's jokes, but this year Jessica and I decided we wanted to get your friend Esther. Jessica comes up with a great idea of telling her that Jessica is dating someone. Right when I get to the class I have with Esther, I start telling her all about Jessica's new boyfriend and how it happened. She was totally buying it. The best part was that literally no less then a minute after I tell her she tell me, "Happy April Fool's Day!" I was great! I respond with, "Oh, yeah, I totally forgot. Thanks for telling me so I can watch my back." It was so funny.

On Esther's way home she said she would stop by Jessica's work to talk to her about it, but Jessica wasn't there. We were hoping she would call, but later that night Jessica gave in and called her. She told her all the same stories I did and Esther was so excited. About ten minutes before midnight, we broke the new to Esther that it was a joke.

Today when I saw her, she had to ask me to make sure it was a joke. She was so upset that we got her. It was pretty fun. I can't wait until Jessica really does get a boyfriend and Esther doesn't believe us.
