I survived

This morning was rough. At 6:15am I had to run every single stair of this building.

Literally, every stair in the Marriott Center was touched by my foot, some even multiple times. Including the ones in the nose bleeds section that you can barely even see in this picture.
However, a little while after that tough battle, I had a wonderful experience in that same building. I was able to be in the same room as the prophet. It was awesome. I loving hearing his stories and talks. I especially love how funny his is. Today really reaffirmed my love for the prophet.

The best moment of the day is sitting in a packed Marriott Center with about 30,000 people talking. Then what seems all at once it falls silent and everyone stands up while President Monson walks in. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to be so close to a prophet of God.

Sorry I haven't been blogging, but here are a few pictures of me going on a zip line. It was pretty cool.

WARNING: Graphic Material May Be Included

So for anyone who has seen me recently you may have also seen my black toe nail. Well, my toe nail finally fell off. Actually, it was barely hanging on, so Camille kindly snapped it off for me. Here is what my toe looks like now.

Birthday Celebration Part 2

On my birthday Jessica and Camille took me out to celebrate and they definitely know how to make me happy. We went to Cold Stones and had a fun time chatting and eating ice cream. Then we decided to go to Rock Canyon Trials. We had a fun and amusing time exploring that area. It is so beautiful there.

Then I came home to one of my favorite dinners with of course more ice cream after dinner. Thank you so much Jordan and Michelle.

A few days later my wonderful mom sent me a birthday card with a Seven Peaks pass. You're awesome mommy, thanks!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make my birthday special. Love you all!

Birthday Celebration Part 1

This past Sunday my sister made me a birthday dinner and it was so delicious! I requested chicken alfredo and she went above and beyond for me. She made homemade alfredo sauce, Parmesan chicken, and homemade bread sticks that beat out Olive Garden's! It was the perfect dinner. Thank you so much Mel!

But of course a birthday isn't complete without ice cream. So my sister made a ice cream cake that is amazing. It is the best ice cream cake in the world because there isn't any cake in it.
As a gift she made me peanut butter cups, which I love. My sister, Marci, and her husband Kenny gave me two pairs of shorts. And my nephew Ammon was so sweet and gave me 11 cents.

It was a great birthday celebration. Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of it!

My Last Day

Today is my last chance to be a teenager. This is also the last of my mother's teenage children. How sad! Tear.

Happy Mother's Day

So I am not very good at being sentimental and expressing my emotions, but I just wanted to give a quick post on a very special day. I have great examples all around me and I just want to give a special thanks to the mothers who have had a huge impact on my life.

I am so luckily to be close enough to watch Melissa raise such a wonderful family and to be apart of everything. My grandma has always been so supportive to all of her grandchildren and I am grateful to have such an amazing grandma. And of course my mom. I don't even know what to say. She is just the best and has always been there for me. Thank you to all three of you for your wonderful examples and for blessing my life. I love you so much!
